Indicators Pointing to Jesus
Exodus 12 data God’s plans for the primary Passover:

God was within the means of delivering his individuals from slavery in Egypt. He was unleashing his almighty energy to redeem his individuals from the trauma they’d suffered over 4 hundred years. With these phrases, Jesus tells his disciples that the very first Passover and each Passover since had pointed to him. He desires them to know that there’s a deeper type of slavery than the bodily slavery that their ancestors had skilled. This slavery is infinitely extra tragic and causes infinitely extra struggling than the Egyptian slavery. And this slavery is common; nobody escapes it. This deeper slavery is the slavery of each coronary heart of each human being to sin. Jesus desires his disciples to know that each lamb of sacrifice was pointing to him. Jesus is saying, “I’m the ultimate Lamb of sacrifice, and by my dying I’ll break the facility of sin and buy forgiveness for all who belief in me.”
The dangerous information all of us need to face is that sin captures us all. It all the time enslaves and results in dying. The excellent news is that Jesus is the Passover Lamb who has bought our freedom and our forgiveness. We do properly to place our belief in him.
