Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI), who’s operating for Senate, filed articles of impeachment on Wednesday in opposition to Well being and Human Companies (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., saying he has turned “his again on science.”
“At present, I formally launched articles of impeachment in opposition to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. RFK Jr. has turned his again on science and the security of the American folks. Michiganders can’t take one other day of his chaos,” the Michigan Democrat wrote in an announcement.
Andrew Nixon, a spokesman for HHS, reportedly dismissed the articles, calling them a political ploy. He mentioned that the Secretary “stays targeted on the work of enhancing Individuals’ well being and reducing prices, not on partisan political stunts.”
Breitbart notes that Consultant Stevens just isn’t the primary Democrat to maneuver to question a member of the President’s cupboard, as Consultant Shri Thanedar not too long ago filed articles of impeachment in opposition to Secretary of Warfare Pete Hegseth.
