The continued battle in Gaza has stirred heated opinions world wide. Many Christians discover themselves caught between compassion for the struggling on all sides and the relentless stream of anti-Israel rhetoric. In moments like this, we have to return to God’s Phrase for readability.
The Bible speaks on to God’s covenant with Israel, His guarantees to bless those that bless them, and His warning to those that oppose them. Whereas no trendy authorities is above criticism, Scripture reminds us that God’s relationship with the Jewish individuals is exclusive and everlasting.

1. God’s Covenant Is Everlasting
God’s promise to Abraham was not a short lived political association — it was an eternal covenant.
“I’ll bless those that bless you, and whoever curses you I’ll curse; and all peoples on earth will likely be blessed by means of you.”
— Genesis 12:3
This covenant was reaffirmed to Isaac (Genesis 26:3–5) and Jacob (Genesis 28:13–15). In Genesis 17:7–8, God clearly says the land of Canaan would belong to Abraham’s descendants endlessly.
2. God Will By no means Abandon Israel
Regardless of centuries of exile, persecution, and opposition, God declares His dedication to Israel is as certain because the existence of the solar, moon, and stars.
“Provided that these decrees vanish from my sight… will Israel ever stop being a nation earlier than me.”
— Jeremiah 31:35–37
3. God Blesses These Who Love Jerusalem
Supporting Israel is not only a political stance — it’s a religious alignment with God’s coronary heart.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: Could those that love you be safe.”
— Psalm 122:6
4. God Will Choose the Nations by How They Deal with Israel
The Bible is blunt: how nations deal with Israel issues to God.
“I’ll collect all nations… and enter into judgment with them… as a result of they scattered my individuals among the many nations and divided up my land.”
— Joel 3:2
“Whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye.”
— Zechariah 2:8
5. The New Testomony Confirms It
Paul makes it clear in Romans 11 that God’s name on Israel is irrevocable. He reminds Gentile believers that we’ve obtained salvation by means of the Jewish individuals — together with our Messiah, Jesus — and that we’re indebted to them (Romans 15:27).
Supporting Israel in a Sophisticated World
Supporting Israel doesn’t imply agreeing with each resolution of its authorities. It means recognizing the religious actuality that God’s covenant individuals stay on the heart of His redemptive plan. It means praying for his or her peace, standing in opposition to anti-Semitism, and blessing what God blesses.
In the long run, Scripture offers us a transparent alternative:
- Blessing for many who bless Israel.
- Cursing for many who curse them.
When the world shouts in opposition to Israel, God’s individuals should select to face with His Phrase.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Bless God’s individuals. Align your coronary heart with His everlasting covenant.
