The Church of Scotland is becoming a member of greater than 100 charities and civil society organisations to inform Scottish MPs that it isn’t too late to vary course on controversial social safety cuts.

A joint letter has been written to Scottish Secretary Ian Murray and copied to all of Scotland’s MPs at Westminster.

The signatories level to estimates that 400,000 folks shall be pushed into poverty if the modifications to Private Independence Funds and Common Credit score go forward.
