Whereas David lived in an opulent, steady house, God’s Spirit dwelt in a tent. David needed to construct God a home, however the Lord stated He would reasonably construct up David’s home. By him would come all of the kings and ultimately the King of the World. God’s Spirit now not hovers over the mercy seat of the ark. As a substitute, He lives within the hearts of believers. We’re the temple that homes His Spirit, now.
